| It shouldn't come as a surprise when I say that my loyalties go completely and totally to Surzus. However, for obvious reasons, we cannot secure a place in the Olympics. (Azra =/= Earth) That said, my Olympic support goes to Canada. And just a half-hour to an hour ago, Canadians beat USA at Canada's game on Canadian Soil. And considering the extreme bias of the AMERICAN network hosting the Olympics, I must say, it feels great.
In between the actual game, the Americans paraded their "victories", replaying a goal which to me, looked like a complete accident, 5 or more times, while Canadian replays were kept to a minimum. They said the chances of goals were "4 to 1 for the USA", and in the first half of the game, the score was 2-0 Canada. In the end it went to overtime, and Canada got the final goal and the gold metal.
After the giant annoyances of what came in between the actual Hockey game, I can only hope that someone will take USA's silver medals and shove it down their throats in the hopes that THAT will shut them up. _________________ A True Leader is not Loyal to himself, but Loyal to his People!~*~ Nata Otum Sazac ~*~ Haven't played Legends of Arza yet? | Nothing will shut up Americans, Sazac! Our massive collective ego is well known. Though I would like to avoid associating myself with any country on Earth, as it is in Azra, as an American I am required by societal law to laugh at you and claim unfounded national superiority.
That said, congratulations and yay Canada. Nice closing ceremony by the way. |

Pshaw. I shall shut up America no matter what the cost!
Was the closing ceramony nice? I didn't actually get to see it. I was at my Grandmothers and we had to leave right after the game._________________ A True Leader is not Loyal to himself, but Loyal to his People!~*~ Nata Otum Sazac ~*~ Haven't played Legends of Arza yet? | Bring it on, fool!
And the ceremony was... interesting, to say the least. You should just watch it some time. There were giant inflatable beavers and mounties... |
